We understand that some dental treatments can be costly. To make dental care more affordable, we partnered with Access My Super to offer a payment program customized to our patients' needs. This program provides an additional payment option to help make recommended treatments accessible.

Can I Access My Superannuation to Pay for My Dental Procedures?

In Australia, individuals can apply to access their superannuation savings to help pay for substantial essential dental procedures, provided they provide supporting documentation to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). The ATO may authorize early release of super funds based on evidence of severe financial hardship or compassionate circumstances.

The ATO looks for proof that an individual is undergoing acute or chronic dental pain and that the funds will be utilized to pay for necessary dental treatment to remedy this pain.   • There are no caps on the super amount you can withdraw. You can withdraw the amount essential for your treatment.

  • You can access your spouse's or partner's super to pay for your treatment. The amount can be added to your balance to cover your dental care costs.

  • You'll typically get your Approval Letter within 14 days. Access My Super updates you through the whole application process.

  • Access My Super has a 100% success record. If your application isn't approved, they'll give a detailed reason from the ATO. They also have a No Approval No Fee guarantee.

  • You'll need a MyGov Account and an ATO Account. Note you must link your ATO Account to your MyGov Account.
